 1.  What is netiquette?  Netiquette is a word from the words net and etiquette . Netiquette is a set of guidelines for polite and respectful behavior when using the internet. When using the internet, you should always remember that you are communicating with people. As in real life, rules of etiquette are necessary on the internet. Netiquette is important to avoid misunderstandings and cyberbullying. Knowing the basic netiquette rules helps us avoid disrespect and mean words to others online. We use the term netiquette to mean a body of conventions and manners for using the Internet as a tool for communication or data exchange, practiced or advocated by a group of people. How to practice netiquette We can practice netiquette when communicating on the net by applying the simple rules of netiquette, such as: Using Respectful Language Using proper grammar/spelling Respecting other people's time and privacy Avoid online fights/arguments There are many other rules of netiquette that we can do but these are some very simple ones that anyone can do. One way you can practice netiquette is by commenting your own thoughts or opinions on a blog, or you can just simply chat your friends.
